Abbotsford Waterline Repair

Have you ever found yourself wondering:

  • Why is my water bill so high?

  • Why is my hardwood flooring getting water damage?

  • Are there sinkholes in my yard from water damage?

  • How is a leaking pipe going to affect my yard?

  • Will a leaking pipe ruin my floors and walls?

If so, you might be in need of a waterline repair or waterline replacement!

A leaky water main can cause a wide variety of water problems. In a residence, leaking pipes from a damaged water line can ruin:

  • Hardwood flooring

  • Wall surfaces

  • Furnishings

  • And more...

Outdoors, water leaking from a high-pressure water service pipe could remove dirt and create sinkholes from underground erosion.

These municipal water leak problems can cause permanent damage, and can also rob areas of enormous quantities of necessary water required for drinking, bathing, cleaning, and other water supply requirements from your service pipe leaking under the ground surface.

Machine Excavation Waterline Repair

We offer water line replacements and installations specially suited to your specific home needs. Our machine excavator operators are incredibly knowledgeable in successfully replacing waterlines in a timely and smooth manner.

Our crew is highly trained in operating our machine excavators, and consistently do an exceptional job in machine excavating to repair all types of waterline damages!

Once we are given confirmation by the resident that they approve the new excavation for the waterline, we start the excavating procedure. By excavating a new line, we can choose the new route of the waterline and try to make it as least intrusive as possible.

  1. We would excavate the trench and core a new hole through the foundation of the building.

  2. Disconnect the old water line and install a new waterline in our trench. We will determine what fittings are needed to connect inside the unit and at the city main.

  3. We only use brass fittings, we make a new connection of the city main and we also connect the waterline inside the house.

  4. Secure all the piping and support all connections before testing the system.

  5. After the repair is complete, we bed the pipe in sand to make sure no rocks are around which will prevent another break in the near future.

  6. We would then carefully back fill the hole and tamp on the way up to make sure the ground is as hard as possible to minimize any shifts to the pipe.

Trenchless Waterline Repair

We also replace many waterlines via our trenchless pipe repair methods. This method is timely and minimally invasive.

Once the resident is made aware of all the possible risks of pulling a new line and they confirm that it is something that they are wanting to try then we start the line pull procedure.

  1. We start by exposing the city shut off for the building to see the type of material the waterline is made of and also how we will connect to the city main.

  2. We will also open a hole in the mechanical room or where the water line enters the building to be able to get out bullet through the concrete slab.

  3. We will then cut the old waterline and feed our cable through to the outside.

  4. Once the cable is through, we attached the new pipe and slowly pull the old pipe out; replacing it with the new waterline.

  5. Using brass fittings, we make a new connection of the city main and we also connect the waterline inside the house.

  6. Secure all the piping and support all connections before testing the system.
